After half a life time working as a qualified nurse I decided, age 47, to follow my heart go to art college.
I first did an H.N.D in graphic design, and encouraged by my tutors, followed that with a BA honours degree in design, specialising in illustration.
It was probably the most exciting time in my life because I discovered so much about myself and my abilities. I discovered I was dyslexic, I’d always wondered about my difficulty with numbers. I discovered I could draw well and enjoyed drawing people, live, although I don’t do portraits easily.
I also developed my love of photography.
